it doesnt happen in just stock and it doesnt happen when ive tried running ksp with each mod i use on its own, obviously all my mods are for 1. For banjo and kazooie n&b you create vehicles to solve whatever your goal is at the moment, where as this game your first goal is to launch your rocket off the ground, then its get to the moon, then its progress further beyond the moon where the smallest detail could cause your rocket to explode and killing your astronaut. it seems, certainly not proven (still testing etc) that when a parts category gets too full, a strange UI bug rears its head. The closest game I would say is banjo and kazooie nuts and bolts but that game didnt have the detail as Kerbal Space Program.
This game is really a one of a kind game, theres nothing really like it. Select models of spaceships and organize the production of components, personnel training, schedule tests, draw up plans on open space exploration, and so on. This game is not something you can play on a short burst or a game where you can pick it up in a single class, this is a long game and rewarding due to its game design. Create your own space program and simulate its development. You don't need a ton of prerequisite knowledge to get started but to get anywhere you really have to try and actually research techniques that will help you succeed in leaving the galaxy. This game is about engineering and rocket science. This game is extremely complex, high school students or college students really. This is a huge timesink, I cant stop myself. You have access to an array of parts to assemble fully-functional spacecraft that flies (or doesn’t) based on realistic aerodynamic and orbital physics. It encourages creativity but if you want to be successful you have to combine actual engineering techniques and its a blast to surpass yourself on previous runs. In Kerbal Space Program, take charge of the space program for the alien race known as the Kerbals. I run on fantastic settings and have 16 gig ram and a 1070 vid card 1920x1080 60fps.

This has been happening for a while but it is hard to capture a 'flicker' in a screenshot. No, not really unfortunately, if you turn down your render resolution to fast it gets rid of it, but that gets rid of all shadows, and if you download the mod scatterer it stops it as well, but if your wanting to play stock, or to have higher frames then that’s not a good option either, so no, not really any fix. I love the idea of building your own rockets and getting far far far away. I have verified my game files and run no mods.
This is a game I played way too much, I have like 200hrs on it on steam.
